01-05-07 Update

This evening we caught Dennis so that we could draw blood for testing, tube fluids and medicine, and weigh him. We were not sure how he would react, but I thought the catch went rather easily. Dennis weighed out to 820 lbs, but we could not get him completely out of the water, so odds are he was closer to 900 lbs and perhaps more. Below are pictures from during the procedure.
